Vital Skills for the 21st Century Workforce

Our goal is to provide library and instructional technology services to small charter schools, private schools, and homeschooling groups that cannot afford a full time, fully trained and certified teacher-librarian.

What We Do

We teach time and project management skills, as well as digital communication skills that are desperately needed by employers, using the library research project as a vehicle.

~
A teacher librarian does so much more than manage books.
We can

  • help you set up and manage an on campus library with a curated collection of books that support your specific charter/school curriculum. We train your volunteers to run the library on a day to day basis.

  • help you track purchased books/textbooks/material and track useage, saving you money.

  • train your teachers to integrate research skills into their daily lesson plans.

  • train teachers and students on how to integrate tech and develop the creative use of available tech to share what they are learning.

  • help faculty and staff  understand fair use and copyright issues in face 2 face and distance learning.

  • Teach students to ask questions, locate and evaluate information and share what they are learning using the most up to date technology.

  • Train teachers to integrate technology effectively into their daily lesson

21st Century students need to know how to find and evaluate relevant information online, on the web, and in specific public and/or private databases.

They also need to be creative in showing what they are learning and as instructional technology specialists, we help teachers integrate research skills and creative technology to improve learning. and develop creativity and problem solving skills
